Since time began women have endured menopause, and it has only been in the past couple of decades that we have moved from the natural herbs for menopause that our mothers and grandmother's used, to what can only be described as synthetic and very questionable hormone replacement therapies.
There has been a lot of conflict over the past few years regarding hormone replacement therapy, I was one of those women who decided to find a natural alternative for my menopause. After some trial and error I finally discovered Menozac, a natural herb, containing plant estrogens called phytoestrogens and within ten days I was back to my old self, no more unbearable hot flashes and night sweats. Did I still get them? yes, but nowhere near as frequent and nowhere near as intense.
All of the herbs Used In Menozac are natural and sourced from plants
Soy Seed:
Soy contains natural phytoestrogens, phytoestrogens are not as strong as human estrogens but they behave in a similar way in our bodies. They help balance our estrogen levels by attaching to our estrogen receptor sites, which can decrease estrogen levels in perimenopausal (early menopause) women and increase levels in menopausal women.
Vitam E:
Vitamin E, an antioxidant, studies done in the 1940,s suggest vitamin E may prevent hot flashes and vaginal dryness.
Black Cohosh:
Black Cohosh is used to alleviate menopausal symptoms. It has been widely researched and whilst generally considered safe, women with a history or family history of liver disease should always consult with their doctor before taking black cohosh.
Damaiana (Turnerna diffusa) (leaf):
This yellow-flowering shrub typically grows in climates that are hot and humid, including Central and South America, and in the state of Texas. Damaiana has historically been used as an aphrodisiac and has been claimed to induce euphoria.
However, research shows that myth to be a hoax. It is indicated to relieve anxiety and induce relaxation. Those suffering from sexual difficulties resulting from stress or emotional troubles could benefit from supplementation with this herb.
There are many alternative and natural herbs for menopause and it is only a matter of trial and error until you find one which suits your needs, for me finding Menozac was the best thing in the world, maybe it could help you too.
With all the controversy surrounding hormone replacement therapy (HRT) Liz has researched many natural herbal products available today in the hope of helping other women going through menopause.
